Andrea Furlan, MD, PhD, is scientist at the Institute for Work & Health, as well as a physician with the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, an associate professor in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Physiatry at the University of Toronto, and a co-ordinating editor of the Cochrane Back Review Group. She is the author of a number of systematic reviews of observational studies and randomized trials in the field of low-back pain and chronic pain.
Claire Bombardier, MD, FRCPC, is a professor of Medicine and director of Rheumatology Division at the University of Toronto. She holds a Canada Research Chair in Knowledge Transfer for Musculoskeletal Care and is a founding editor emeritus of the Cochrane Back Review Group Editorial Board.
Dwayne Van Eerd, MSc is an associate scientist at the Institute for Work & Health. Recently, he has led or participated in a number of systematic reviews of the scientific literature addressing prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. He is interested in knowledge transfer and exchange in the area of OHS.
Emma Irvin, BA, is director of Research Operations and manager of the Systematic Review Program and Information Systems at the Institute for Work & Health. She is the co-author of various systematic reviews and the convenor of the Cochrane Library Users’ Group.
Maurits van Tulder, PhD, is from the EMGO Institute in The Netherlands. He has extensive experience with systematic reviews of the etiology, prognosis, diagnosis and treatment of various musculoskeletal disorders. He is also the author of the method guidelines for conducting reviews for the Cochrane Back Review Group (CBRG), as well as the CBRG's co-editor.
Quenby Mahood, MI, is the manager of Library Services at the Institute for Work & Health. She has been a member of several systematic review teams at IWH, designing and executing comprehensive literature searches. She has also acted as a reviewer and project coordinator on some reviews.
